Previous studies have shown that a variety of psychological and physical health benefits are associated with owning a dog, including increased physical activity, decreased blood pressure, decreased anxiety, and improved self-esteem and social support. Investigators at Penn Vet and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania are currently undertaking a research study to develop and validate a quality of life questionnaire. The new questionnaire called the DOG Owner qUality of life SurvEy (DOGhOUSE) concentrates on 10 different aspects of everyday life that researchers have identified as important between dogs and their owners. Learn more about the DOGhOUSE survey here: www.vet.upenn.edu/research/clinical-trials/penn-vet-clinical-trials/clinical-trial/doghouse-quali... If you’d like to take the survey, follow here: redcap.med.upenn.edu/surveys/?s=4KuXHdJjHp. It shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to complete. Thank you!
